As a qualified veterinary nurse, dog trainer and canine behaviourist with over 10 years experience, Tim Jackson, Director of Pets2impress perfectly understands that all dogs have different physical and emotional needs.

Whether your pooch is big and bouncy, old and sleepy, or shy and just wants cuddles, our state of the art Daycare Centre will ensure your beloved dog gets all of the T.L.C. and attention they both desire and need.

The structure of your dog’s day will depend on whether they would prefer to snuggle up with one of our day care assistants or bounce around in the arena with their furry friends, digging up treasure in the sand pit, running through the tunnels or playing with toys.

Don’t worry about leaving your dog home alone all day, we have you covered. At Pets2impress your dog will receive ample opportunities to burn off energy both mentally and physically preventing training or behavioural issues for you at home. Our daycare will help with your dog’s training, giving them more confidence, independence and focus and guarantees to give you a peaceful night.

Every Christmas we launch our annual Santa for Strays appeal, a heartwarming tradition that embodies the spirit of giving and compassion. As we gather with loved ones to celebrate the joy of the season, let us not forget our furry friends in need. Many animals in shelters won’t experience the warmth of a loving home on Christmas, and that’s where our community can make a difference. Through Santa for Strays, we aim to raise awareness and much-needed donations to support these animals during a time when they need it most. Every contribution, big or small, helps provide essential care, nourishment, and a glimmer of hope for these wonderful creatures. The aim is to make the holiday season brighter for those who may not have a home for Christmas, spreading love and compassion to our four-legged friends who deserve a chance at a better life.

The Assessment Process

At Pets2impress, we understand the importance of ensuring a smooth transition for your dog into our daycare environment. That’s why we’ve developed our comprehensive induction process, affectionately known as Boot Camp, to provide the best possible experience for both you and your furry friend. This multi-step process begins with the completion of our application form, followed by an initial assessment to ensure that your dog is a good fit for our daycare community. Next, your dog will enjoy a free half-day trial session, allowing them to become familiar with our facilities and staff. Assuming all goes well during this trial, your dog will then be enrolled in our Boot Camp, a two-week induction program (4 days at daycare in total over 2 weeks) designed to acclimate them to the daycare environment at their own pace.

During Boot Camp, our experienced team will work closely with your dog on a one-on-one basis, focusing on building confidence, socialization skills, and familiarity with daycare routines. In addition to tailored activities such as scent work, hoopers training, and agility exercises, we’ll also take your dog on a 1-1 adventure outing to assess their outdoor needs and preferences.

This intensive period also provides us with valuable insights into your dog’s personality and behaviour, allowing us to tailor our approach to best meet their needs. Moreover, Boot Camp serves as an opportunity for us to get to know you better as well. We value open communication and collaboration with our clients, and Boot Camp provides a platform for us to discuss your goals, concerns, and expectations for your dog’s daycare experience. By working together as a team, we can ensure that your dog receives the personalized care and attention they deserve.

Upon successfully completing Boot Camp, your dog will graduate with flying colours, ready to embark on their regular daycare journey. We’ll work with you to determine the best schedule for your dog’s attendance and discuss the benefits of enrolling them in our unique membership scheme, which offers exclusive perks and privileges tailored to your dog’s needs. With Boot Camp, we’re committed to laying the groundwork for a positive and rewarding daycare experience for both you and your furry companion.

“Where paws come first!”

In 2021, Tim Jackson embarked on an adventure to recreate the traditional story of the Nativity, giving it a modern-day twist and with the help of his furry friends at daycare he managed to pull it off. The purpose of the Nativity was to raise money for the Pets2impress annual Santa for Strays Appeal.

The nativity was a huge success which left the daycare dog owners thirsty for more so in 2022 Tim decided to up it a level more by recreating the classic story of Scrooge, once again with a modern day twist.

All donations for our Santa for Strays appeal are welcome.

Every month we hold different themed parties including Disney week, Harry Potter Week, Superhero week and Dinosaur week. These include yummy treats, party games, a special themed scent space, props, accessories, goody bags to go home with, special guest visitors and photo shoots. Your pooch is sure to have a ball.

Help give your dog the chance to be social in a safe environment that was designed just for them. Under the supervision of our canine carers you dog will spend the day doing what dogs do best….playing, learning, napping and loving life. No longer do you need to feel guilty about leaving your dog home alone.

Our School Trips are available to book Monday – Thursday (held at the beach or Primrose Nature reserve):

50 minute visit to Odin Valley, an enclosed adventure field for dogs filled with fun agility equipment which your dog will get the opportunity to enjoy
Recall training with distractions
A pack lunch to take with them on their school trip. This will include natural treats, home made doggy cake and their favourite toy
1 x 1-1 training within the daycare centre to work on basic commands
Brush through (15 minutes)
2 x top to tail examinations
Controlled Play – within the daycare centre and at Odin Valley adventure Park

We’re BIG on safety and keeping all of our dogs safe and happy is our number 1 priority!

Hands on supervision

Dogs are closely monitored by our canine carers at all times

Vaccinations required

All dogs must be up to date with their vaccinations and proof before enrollment is required. We do accept titre testing however dogs will still need to be vaccinated against Lepto.

Neutering policy

We do have a neutering policy at Pets2impress. All females and small breed male dogs need to be neutered by the age of 6 months. Large breed males need to be neutered no later than 18 months.

A clean environment

We use the safest, most effective products to ensure our daycare centre is clean and sanitary at all times.

Behaviour assessment

To ensure we create the perfect balance of play time and valuable naps, each dog is individually assessed prior to their stay at the centre. This also helps us to find other dogs in the centre which we believe will be your dog’s forever friend. To book your free assessment please complete the online application form below.

We are open Monday – Friday from 7:30am until 6pm. Any collections after this time will incur a late collection charge of £10 every 15 minutes.
